WHAT DO RETINOL PRODUCTS DO?

Retinol serums are derived from Vitamin A and are designed to gently exfoliate the skin, which can treat a range of skin issues. I often combine Retinol Serum with other treatments for faster results.

ACNE: Retinol Serum and Salicylic Peels combined

Retinol is one of the most successful acne treatments as its cell renewal properties helps spots to come to the surface, alters sebum production and prevents new breakouts from happening by averting follicle blockages. Combination treatments often work faster (see image left).

ANTI-AGING: Before and at 6 months: Retinol Serum & Toxin

As we age, our skin slowly loses its abilities tor rejuvenate as effectively as it once did, leading to loss of elasticity, discoloration, lines and wrinkles. Due to its abilities to encourage new keratin cell and collagen production, Retinol can reduce sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines on face, neck and hands when used regularly, leaving the skin clearer and fresher. I often combine Retinol skincare with botulinum toxin treatments in my clinics, (see image left).

This is usually genetic, worsened by unprotected UVA/UVB exposure and effects women more than men. Using a Retinol product 3-4 times weekly on face, neck & décolletage will help to fade brown areas, especially when combined with a course of Microneedling.

Retinol products treat existing acne scars by rejuvenating affected areas, and preventing new ones by slowing down breakouts.

Retinol should only be used at night and always with a daytime sunscreen, whatever the weather. I am offering readers 15% off my Retinol Serum with code BEAUTY15. Shop now
