This is a question I often get asked in the clinic, so I wanted to share everything I know about Profhilo with you.

This product falls into a category called Skin Boosters, meaning that whilst it will improve your skin, it will not alter the structure of your face in any way.

Profhilo is made of pure hyaluronic acid, and is injected into the dermis of the skin, which means it has the ability to intensely hydrate and improve skin texture. It is injected into 5 points on each side of the face, and spreads out slowly beneath the skin over a 4 week period to form a sort of mesh. We can also use Profhilo around the mouth, on the neck and hands. At the 4 week point, many people choose to have a 2nd dose of Profhilo, which means results will last for around 9 months. There is no downtime after treatment.

Sometimes we combine Profhilo with Toxin and Dermal Filler injections at the clinic to achieve treatment goals.
